Easter Sunday Headwear

Easter week is upon us and church fashion is in full swing. As we’ve mentioned previously, there is a wide variety of things that can be worn to church on Easter Sunday, from the bright and bold to the more subtle.

There is, however, one aspect of the Easter Sunday outfit that isn’t talked about as much as the dress- your headwear. Church hats have been an essential part of what is considered church fashion and what’s a Sunday best without a nice hat to go with it.

Just like with dresses, there are many ways to wear a church hat as well as many styles.

Fascinators are one of those accessories that are always associated with Sunday best. There’s just something inherently class about having a well-done fascinator sitting wel on one’s head.

It says ‘I am stylish and I came to be seen’. You fascinator can be a single colour or you might choose one that is multicoloured. Either way, ensure that headpiece is the same colour as your outfit or at least one of the prominent colours on it.

Head wraps have also gained popularity in recent times due to their ease of use and how easy it is to decorate them. The thing to keep in mind about head wraps is that they aren’t quite as glamorous as fascinators.

Sure, you can decorate them with broaches and whatnot, but they are best used for when you’re going for a more laid-back look. Head wraps come in a wide range of colours and depending on your outfit and tastes, you might decide to add pin-on decorations to them.

If you’re looking for something a little easier to put on, you might want to get a hat instead. Hts have evolved past the traditional church design we all grew up with. Hats exist in every shape, colour and style you can imagine.

Whether you want to cover up al you hair or let a bit of it show, there’s something for everyone. Hats follow the same rule as fascinators in that they should most likely be in a colour that is prominent in your outfit (or a different one if you’re trying to achieve a pop of colour).

Easter Sunday doesn’t have to end with the dress. Your Sunday hat is cherry on top of a fabulous Easter look. From wraps to hats, there’s so much to choose from to go with your outfit.
