In October 2016, Makioba took a step further in the body positive journey by giving life to the term ‘Plus Size’ on Africa’s biggest runway; Lagos Fashion and Design Week as part of the AboutThatDCurvyLife Collective. Presenting the collection ‘Rays of The Moon’, Makioba served fierce and daring designs on the runway, introducing never-before-seen high fashion trends to the plus size fashion world.
